This is Derelict, one of my first custom designs for SWTOR. Designed haphazardly in a rush with pen and ink and machined in my 'half a garage' machineshop.
This lightsaber was the first "in real life" concept art piece I did for SWTOR. Once I had this built and working in-hand, I modeled it for the game.

As completed, in my garage. The aluminum heat sink in the background will serve as the base for the stand.
Not too long after I made it, the paint began to flake off the center section, in natural weathering.
